Bridget Crone, Artistic Director
Before coming to Media Art Bath, Bridget was Gallery Coordinator at The Showroom, London from 2003-6; at The Showroom, Bridget worked with artists as diverse as Diann Bauer, Daria Martin, Aaron Williamson, Subodh Gupta and juneau/projects to produce their first solo exhibition in London. Before arriving in the UK from Australia, Bridget worked for the Melbourne International Biennial where she produced projects with artists such as Destiny Deacon and Chad McCail among others; and at RMIT University Gallery where she worked on a major exhibition of contemporary art from China.
Bridget has curated freelance projects for museums and galleries such as the Ian Potter Museum of Art, Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces and 1st Floor Artists and Writers Space both before and after leaving Australia. Her exhibition for Ian Potter Museum of Art was the museum's large-scale international exhibition for 2005, addressing the descriptive and experimental potential of the body's relationship to contemporary events, the exhibition included work by artists such as Joan Jonas, Joy Hester, Christian Capurro, Diann Bauer, Tom Nicholson and Ian Burn. Bridget has also held the position of visiting lecturer in the Department of Visual Cultures, Goldsmiths, The University of London where she taught courses on the history and politics of museums' collections and contemporary curating. Currently she is associate lecturer for the MA Curating and Critical Writing, Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts, London, and External Examiner for the MA Gallery Studies and Critical Curating at the University of Essex.
Zoë Rozelaar, Director, Business Development and Operations
Zoë has worked in the creative and cultural sector for many years, with a focus on developing and strengthening the sector in terms of workforce development and business success. She was most recently Regional Manager at Arts & Business South West, working with a wide range of sectors and managing their Board Bank programme.
Before moving to the South West, Zoë lived in Wales, working for the arts workforce development agency, and more recently she was National Manager for Creative & Cultural Skills. Creative & Cultural Skills represents Advertising, Design, Craft, Cultural Heritage, Music, Visual, Literary and Performing Arts, and her role involved securing investment and support for these industries. She brokered Creative Blueprint, the Sector Skills Agreement that provides the plan for workforce development and improving qualifications for the creative and cultural industries in Wales. She also led development of Creative Apprenticeships in Wales, a programme that is set to change the culture of working in the creative and cultural sector and will help to diversify the workforce.

Mark Dunhill, Dean of Arts at Central Saint Martin's College of Art
After a period working as a sculptor, undertaking commissions and teaching in art schools throughout the UK, Mark Dunhill took up a teaching post at the University of the West of England, Bristol in 1986, culminating in the appointment as Head of School of Fine Arts in 2001. Mark has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad and has been involved in art projects for public spaces as both a consultant and artist. Since 1998 he has been working collaboratively with Tamiko O'Brien. Working as Dunhill and O'Brien they have completed residencies and exhibitions including, Diepenheim Holland, The British School at Rome and most recently at Youkobo Artspace, Tokyo.
Tim Eastop, Arts Consultant
Tim Eastop is an experienced visual arts professional working nationally and internationally with artists, cultural organisations, academic institutions and the art market. Tim founded and directed Arts Council England's International Artists Fellowship Programme from 2001 until 2007, and from 2003 to 2004 he was Acting Director of Visual Arts at Arts Council England where he led national sectoral reviews on the presentation of contemporary visual art and crafts culminating in published national strategies for the visual arts in England. Tim is a co-founder of The Collective, an innovative scheme sharing the collecting of contemporary art for the home. He is also co-producer of GATE, a series of triennial installation events located in politically charged sites.
John Hewitt, Partner, Hewitt Studios
John trained at Sheffield University qualifying in 1983. He established his own practice in 1994 in Worcester and merged it with Stubbs Rich in 1999. John's focus is on brief development and initiation of responsive architecture solutions that continue to deliver enjoyment and benefit long term. His interest in helping bring people together with common purpose through collaboration is currently demonstrated by his directorship of Norton Radstock Regeneration Company and Media Art Bath. Recent projects have included working with the Royal National College for the Blind, Hydro Automotive Structures, Hereford Learning Village and the Royal Agricultural Society of England.
Fabienne Nicholas, Head of Consultancy, Contemporary Art Society
Fabienne Nicholas has 20 years of experience working in the visual arts, with a focus on media arts through her leadership of Experimenta Media Arts, the leading commissioning, exhibition and advocacy body for digital and media arts in Australia. After crossing the seas to settle in the UK Fabienne was until recently Project Director for Futurecity Arts, managing a range of high-profile cultural regeneration projects including the Kinetica Museum in London. Currently Head of Consultancy for the Contemporary Art Society, Fabienne is managing a portfolio of major public art commissions, corporate art collections and curatorial initiatives.
Hazel Northwood, Development Consultant
Hazel is a development consultant based in Bath. She works with clients in the cultural and voluntary sectors on organisational review and strategic change, fundraising, and developing governance through consultancy, facilitation or mentoring services. Current and recent projects include work with Candoco Dance Company, The House of Illustration, Camden Arts Centre, Somerset Film and Video, Unlimited Company and Creative Careers. Hazel is an Associate Member of the Institute of Fundraising.
